Worship services, bible studies and other events are offered in English as well as German

German Lutheran Church Services in the Chapel are held every 1st Sunday of the month at 9 a.m. and every 3rd Sunday of the month at 3 p.m. with Pastor Matthias Kunze. 

The afternoon Service will be with Holy Communion every second month.

However, it is the view of Martin Luther Homes that pastoral care is not exclusively the domain of specialists; rather, it is a Christian communities attitude towards the sanctity of human life.

Pastoral care thus becomes a sensitive walking alongside elderly people by pastors and lay helpers.

Pastors Matthias Kunze, Wilhelm Stern and a representative Pastor from the Australian Lutheran Church, for the English speaking residents, are the principal contacts for visits and events, counselling and pastoral care.

Pastoral Care in English is provided by Mrs Sandra Zibell, every 1st, 2nd and 5th Tuesday of the month from 2pm - 4pm.

These and other members of the pastoral care team are always ready to listen to the concerns and worries of the residents by way of consoling, providing advice and support.
