Our onsite Diversional therapists arrange many different activities for the residents to maintain and improve quality of life. Martin Luther Homes have four Diversional Therapists who provide programs on a regular basis during the week. The Activities Centre is used by all residents for craft activities, games, celebrations, film afternoons, Church Services and for special occasions.

On site Hairdressing Salon: Our hairdresser is open Thursdays and Fridays all day for those wishing to pamper themselves and get their hair done.

ACTIVITY PROGRAM Our Diversion Therapists draw up a weekly activity program for our residents to make their life at the homes more enjoyable.
Some of these activities include: Craft Sessions, Devotion groups and German fellowship, carpet bowling, card games, Bingo, singing, cooking and wheelchair walks as well as 1:1 time with residents in the nursing home.

Hearing Services: We provide a free hearing check to pensioners by Australian Hearing. Appointments can be made at residents convenience. Eye Care: We have an eye care specialist on site every 3 months to perform eye tests on those residents who feel they need to have an eye test. The service provider can be found at info@eyecare2you.com.au Podiatrist: Our podiatrist visits weekly on Saturdays from 9.30am. Mina Williams from Knoxfield Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy. Physiotherapy services: Our physiotherapist visits are provided by Vivir Healthcare Pty Ltd. Our Physiotherapists Shilpa and Carmen visit twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays to manage all our residents’ Physiotherapy needs. VIVIR.com.au Massage therapy: Our Massage Therapist is available by appointment for those wishing to pamper themselves. Nutritionist: We have a Nutritionist who is happy to see any residents who need advice by appointment. Pharmacy: Residents can get their medications through the Williams and Golby Pharmacy at 202 Dorset Road Boronia delivered to us. Mail Service: Residents can use our in house mail delivery service by placing their outgoing mail into the box at reception which is collected daily at around 1.00pm. |
