Nutrition and Cuisine: Our Head Chef Ilija Kljajic provides our residents with special selections of fresh daily cooked, tasty German & International cuisines. 

He has a rich history in the culinary world with 6 years experience as Head Chef at the famous Cuckoo Restaurant in Olinda. He has also won many awards for his culinary skills and will happily take requests from residents to cater to all tastes.

Our food  is maintained under the highest food safety standards to ensure all nutritional, hydration needs are met for optimum health of our residents.  Our menus are designed to incorporate seasonal changes and are changed weekly and posted where residents have easy access to the details of the new menus.

Cafe Jensen:

Our Cafe is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays from 2.30pm - 4.00pm.

Residents can come in and enjoy a leisurely cappuccino and cake or an alcoholic beverage.

We serve traditional European style cakes and coffee to the

residents & families of our aged care facility and now have a limited

 liquor licence.

 

Our Café was nominated in 2005 for a national Award for Excellence in

Aged Care by the Minister for Ageing.
